The food does not taste, the meat is not fried long enough, the service is rude, the atmosphere is OK, the cutlery is very cheap and the drinks diluted with water

Every evening there is a culinary gain. Great food, great wines, great atmosphere, friendly service. You feel good here.

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the consistently positive reviews for this restaurant. You can sit there beautifully, but the quality of the food and its preparation left a lot to be desired. The worst was a ready-made potato salad that tasted like a ready-made meal and caused belching, which was served with rabbit fillet (tough and much too salty with a bacon coating) as well as monkfish and salmon. The visual "design" of the fish dish played with a wild pattern of differently colored sauces in a slightly unsavory way. A "sweet mustard sauce" with duck breast (overcooked inside, saggy outside) tasted more like pumpkin soup that was too thick, garnished with nonsensical, half-raw vegetable pieces. The service: inattentive and awkward. Despite the beautiful location: not again!

Food is good bit expensive for Mönchengladbach but very well cooked. Nice wine selection and superb service. The terrace is really good in summer.

We visited the restaurant, asked for a table to have dinner and were told by the staff there were no tables left, which was visibly inaccurate. All tables inside were empty and at least one outside were free. We asked to make a reservation for the next evening and were told there were no tables available either, they did not even bother to look at the reservations book.
